Need somewhere to stay?

If you are looking for somewhere to stay then here are a few good places to start:

www.daft.ie
www.studentaccomodation.ie
www.grabagaff.com
www.rent.ie

Another great place to get your house hunt going is on the www.rcsi.ie page. Just follow this link: http://www.rcsi.ie/index.jsp?1nID=93&2nID=94&3nID=115&nID=552

The average price for renting for month comes to €400-500, cheaper rentals can be found more so if you have a big group of people sharing together. Also there’s the option of living in digs (has a great list on rent.ie) and house-sharing  with others. Rentals are more expensive the closer they are to the city centre especially the Dublin 2 area.

Good areas to rent if you don’t mind a bit of travel with good access to the city centre and within walking distance of college are all along the Green Line of the Luas e.g. Milltown and Windy Arbour, there are reasonable prices available especially in Ranelagh. Also other places include Smithfield, Drumcondra, Rathmines, Christchurch, Clontarf & Phibsborough and Beaumont for those spending most of their college year there.

For new students looking to be a stones throw from the college, RCSI is affiliated with Mercer and Millin Accomodation opposite the Mercer Library. Please contact student services for more details. Other places include Adelaide apartment, these however are not affiliated with the college.

IF YOU REQUIRE ANY FURTHER HELP PLEASE ENQUIRE IN THE STUDENT UNTION OFFICE.
